The 16th Kyiv Food and Wine Festival is dedicated to cheese and wine. Dozens of the best winemakers and cheesemakers from all over the country will come to Kyiv to surprise and delight their fans with interesting novelties and all-time hits.
A special feature of this festival is a unique gift that you can get with your ticket: a 450 ml crystal tasting glass by Sophienwald, a famous Austrian brand.
The topic of cheese at this festival will be revealed as fully as possible: the Cheese Kingdom, one of the biggest importers of cheese and gastronomic products, will organize a large zone for cheese tastings, and will hold the first ever Cheese Battle — a competition for those who know and appreciate this delicious product. Prizes and goodies will go to all participants!
Also, the organizers offer all guests a traditional autumn attraction — grape crush: a huge vat of grapes will be installed at the festival, holding grapes that everyone can crush.
The festival program includes the following:
✔ wine market (dozens of large and small wineries from Ukraine and other countries)
✔ cheese market (iconic Ukrainian and foreign cheeses from craft producers and well-known importers)
✔ free wine and cheese tastings at the exhibitors' stands;
✔ Wine School with free lectures and tastings from professional sommeliers, wine experts and wine brand ambassadors;
✔ Cheese Battle and express-tasting area for connoisseurs of cheese;
✔ Sabrage school: a professional sommelier will teach guests to open a bottle of sparkling wine using the old hussar method — with a saber;
✔ music program with live performances and DJs;
✔ food court;
✔ thematic photo zones and recreation areas;
✔ territory of creativity with master classes;
✔ lots of contests and giveaways from the partners of the festival.

Tickets are available online, but they can also be purchased at the box office at the entrance of the festival.
The supply of crystal glasses is somewhat limited, but they are guaranteed to be provided to those who purchase tickets online. Guests who purchase tickets directly at the location will also receive a tasting glass as a gift, but possibly from another manufacturer.
The ticket is valid for one day only (18 or 19 September).

Standard: 200 UAH - until September 17.
